Hwaaksan (Mt. 1,468m), the best out of 5
mountains of Gyeonggi, rises high at the diverging point between Gangwon-do and
Gyeonggi-do. It is the highest peak in Gyeonggi-do. Centering Hwaaksan, Maebong
(Peak) is in the east and Jungbong (Peak) is in the west, and they are called
Samhyeongjebong (Peak, Three Brothers Peaks.
This is updating relevant photos to previous Blogger, 2018-06-28 Gyeonggi Gapyung Hwaaksan Mountain Climb in Korea which photos were mostly unclear due to dust level high, bad visibility at that time. Therefore I made Hwaaksan Mountain Hike again on Dec 24, 2018 which was fine weather and good visibility, dust level low. All others are remaining unchanged like hike course and information of mountain and etc. Please see more at
