Sky Scanner, price comparison web site has analyzed 60 million air passenger tickets sold in 2017 and announced Jeju Island in Korea was ranked as the best Korean travelling place and Osaka in Japan was at 2^nd position.

As we reviewed free travelling trend from Jan to October in 2017, Korean’s best and favorite travelling cities are Jeju Island in Korea, Japan Osaka, Japan Tokyo, Japan Okinawa, Japan Fukuoka, Thailand Bangkok, Vietnam Danang, Hong Kong, Taiwan Taipei, Philippine Cebu and America Guam which was recorded within raking top to 10^th.

Vietnam Danang was suddenly and remarkably rising city which many Korean was recently starting to love and ranked as 6^th in 2017, firstly entering into 10th ranking position while 12^th in 2016, just one year before. Other cities in Vietnam were ranked as like Hanoi as 15^th and Ho Chi Min as 17^th respectively.

These Korean favorite travelling cities were different positions depend on travelling style like family or close friend group which was recently keeping increasing and rising. These travelling groups prefer to travel to near and closer vacation area. We could see these recreation areas were Korea Jeju Island, America Guam, Vietnam Danang, Japan Okinawa, Japan Osaka, Philippine Cebu and so on.

While free traveler and/or single traveler were preferring to destination where they could see and enjoy at not far distances like Japan Osaka, Korea Jeju Island, Japan Tokyo, Japan Fukuoka, Thailand Bangkok, Hong Kong, Taiwan Taipei, Vietnam Danang and tec.

Many Korean were tend to compare price and performance together and travelling at non peak season which they could buy the ticket and book the hotels with lower price than peak season. But it came to know the most Korean travelers were still leaving in September or October which was inclusive of golden holidays and surprisingly sold air ticket at these months as 63.8% increase comparing to 2016. We used call non peak season for travel as April. But air ticket sold in 2017 was recorded as 26.1% comparing to 2016 which was second increasing. While increase of air ticket sold at peak season in July and August were recorded as limited as 3.1% in July and 2.4% in August respectively.

If we look up free traveling Korean’s staying days, about one day was shorten comparing to 7.5 days in 2016 and 6.4 days in 2017 which would be related to traveling at weekend with LCC air ticket.
